Track record
The collections business started in 2000 under Hrishikesh Adwalpalkar, with a single core competency: receivables management on overdue instalments, secured and unsecured.
Collections in India is a lakh conversations a day held together by spreadsheets, folklore and heroic middle managers. The tools it runs on were built for other countries, other languages and other rails, then localised with a Hindi voice pack and a rupee sign. So we built our own: the whole loop, from data and strategy to voice, messaging, field, payments and evidence, as one system, for Indian lending only, and put our own floor on it first.
The approach has stayed hybrid ever since, and the clientele has grown to span private and public sector banks, NBFCs, fintechs and asset reconstruction companies.
